		Loosely based on the Around The World pattern, this charmer boasts 116 different squares. There are almost as many patterns: florals, animals, kids � something new to see every time. The main colors used in the center are red yellow, green, blue and purple, and bright blue and red surround the squares. A gorgeous blue and aqua swirl is on the back, with green textured binding as the finishing touch. Yellow quilt stitching outlines the squares, and forms 3 wavy lines on the borders. One Red Sock Applique Lap Quilt

That�s all it takes in the wash to turn all the whites pink, and was the inspiration for this quilt. �One Red Sock� starts in one corner with a pair of red socks and finishes in the opposite corner with a light pink shorts. The shades of red vary from dark burgundy to red to hot pink to shell pink. The offending sock�s apology and a remark from a now red pair of socks are hand embroidered. The rest of the laundry, the clothespins and the clothesline are machine appliqued. This 25 patch quilt has a 5 �� yellow border, and measures 50� x 50�. Suns are quilted into the border, and the back of the quilt is sky blue. Use this sunny, funny quilt on your kid�s bed, on the wall or on your lap. As a wall hanging, it�s sure to elicit smiles and knowing nods from your guests. The quilt is 100% cotton and 100% washable. (And colorfast!)
